The Oklahoma / Arkansas / Texas (OATS) Regional Training Institute is an agency of the National Spiritual Assembly and is supervised by the Regional Bahá’í Council of the Southern States. It serves the states of Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas with study circles and intensive courses. Although most courses are offered in English some are also offered in Spanish and Persian.
OATS offers a variety of courses to meet the diverse needs and plans of communities. Each course is selected with care to enhance spiritual insights and develop skills through curriculum that has proven successful in communities throughout the United States and other countries. Ruhi, Core Curriculum, and a seeker follow-up course are among the choices.
Through consultation with the training institute, a sequence of courses is chosen to guide participants in acquiring skills, selecting a path of service and becoming stronger community resources. OATS encourages and stands ready to offer the enclosed courses locally as study circles to achieve this goal. We await your study circle requests for dates and locations. An intensive course weekend schedule is also available.
